This binocular allows you to comfortably observe wildlife or astronomical objects that require hours of stationary observation. The large 82mm lenses have excellent light-gathering power, providing a bright field of view with minimal distortion all the way to the edge of the lens.

The PROMINAR model (BL8J3) with pure fluorite crystal objective lenses is available for those seeking the highest optical performance.

All lenses, prisms, and dustproof glass are fully multicoated, ensuring a clear visual range and sharp images.

The strong yet lightweight die-cast aluminum housing is extremely durable, with a rigid structure that can endure tough use. The built in handle on the body provides an easy means of carrying.

The housing is waterproof to JIS* Protection Class 7** and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent the lens from fogging.
*JIS=Japanese Industrial Standard.
**Not intended for use underwater.

The eyepieces are designed to provide a wide field of view and long eye relief for comfortable viewing without eye fatigue.

Installing/Removing the Eyepiece
To install the eyepiece, place it in the opening and push until the eyepiece hits against the top of the focus ring. To remove the eyepiece, simply pull the eyepiece straight out of the focus ring.

Focusing and Interpupillary Distance Adjustment
The interpupillary distance is adjusted by moving the eyepieces
left and right. Focusing of the binoculars is achieved by
turning the focus rings (located below the eyepieces).

Using the Sightline
The sightline is useful for finding the object you wish to view.
By aligning the sightline on the handle and the protrusion on the main body, objects can be easily sighted.

Sliding Hood
When facing the sun, pull out the sunshade to keep unwanted
light from entering the binocular.
